![]() ![]() If you're a Myspace fan, you'll like this app. You cannot delete or edit posts you make, and both Facebook and Twitter are better served by their own apps. It doesn't take advantage of the network's great music and video at all, can be slow and a little unstable. The Myspace app is a pretty confused thing. You can also use 'super post' to update your status across the three social networks, use Myspace chat, read your mail and more. Discover seems to be unpersonalized, and just a stream of celebrity marketing. The Artists stream takes your iPhone library, and gives you news on your favorite stars, while Discover sends you updates on movies, celebs and more. Grid is split into three parts, your live stream, Artists on Myspace and Discover. The stream gives you either a traditional news wall, made of updates from Myspace, Twitter and Facebook, or you can use the Grid view. The graphics and sounds in Metal Gear Solid Touch are mightily impressive and at times it's almost as if you were sat playing your XBox. To reach the enemies that are a bit further away you simply pinch the screen to switch to sniper rifle mode and zoom in on them. You move the target sight just by dragging your finger around anywhere on the iPhone's surface (so you don't have to obscure your view of the action) and shoot by tapping the screen. Pointing and shooting is pretty easy once you've got the hang of it. Though purists may scoff at Metal Gear Solid Touch's format, I thought it actually suits the iPhone very well. In this sense, Metal Gear Solid Touch plays a lot more like Time Crisis than it does its console forefather. Targets appear and you must bob up and down from your hiding place to shoot them and avoid getting hit yourself. Konami has removed the ability to walk around in the game, and instead you play from a fixed position behind a barrier. This special version of Metal Gear Solid 4 has been optimized for use on the touchscreen device. ![]()
